Hannah and I feel very fortunate that you came into our lives. Your talk at the DAC was very helpful and a great introduction to your work and the whole application process. I wasn’t planning on using a college advisor, but after Hannah and I butted heads a few times during the whole application process I realized having an outsider would be very helpful. And you ended up being more helpful than I ever imagined. First of all, you have a much better sense of the schools out there and, after getting to know Hannah, were able to make suggestions about other schools that would be a good fit for her. You objectively looked at her essay from the viewpoint of a college admissions person and gave very constructive feedback. You are very easy to work with and available. Sometimes parents are too close and the high schools are too busy to help with the process.

Morgan began helping me with my college applications in August of 2006. None of my friends had college consultants, but my parents convinced me it was a good idea because competition for admissions is so rigorous. Initially, I resisted the idea of having a “tutor,” but Morgan proved to be a smart choice. She wasn’t like other tutors or college consultants I knew about in Washington, DC. She was younger, more energetic, and more familiar with life as a student in college.
